Underfoot Feel

The On Women's Cloudstratus 3 running shoes should feel very protective underfoot. That's because they feature a double layer of CloudTec cushioning. However, the main sensation is one of responsiveness and propulsion. This is down to the Speedboard that runs the length of the midsole. A nylon blend delivers more energy return than the previous version.

If you've run in On running shoes before, you'll have probably got stones stuck in the bottom. The Cloudstratus 3 now has a closed bottom unit. This stops any stones being collected, and improves the overall sensation of cushioning.

Greater levels of durability and grip are provided with updated outsole rubber pads.

Upper Fit

The On Cloudstratus 3 running shoes' upper feels comfortable, supportive and breathable. Greater levels of padding and more premium lining materials deliver even more comfort than the last version. You can also expect great midfoot lockdown as a result of the wings at the lace area.

Ideal Run Type

We suggest using the On Women's Cloudstratus 3 running shoes for steadier paced efforts and long runs. This is because the midsole feels very propulsive and performs at its best when you're moving with purpose. By that, we mean when you're trying to maintain a certain speed that's faster than your easy paced runs.

That's not to say the Cloudstratus 3 running shoes won't feel good for slower paced runs, it's just we normally recommend softer running shoes for this. At the same time, if you enjoy more responsive feeling running shoes for slower efforts, these should suit you.
